ChildWise hosts customized study tours for early childhood educators and administrators wanting to learn more about the U.S. ECE system and principles.
Our study tours include presentations and classes run by internationally recognized professionals in the field of ECE, visits to America’s leading educational institutions and Ivy-League schools, as well as preschools, kindergartens and the government offices regulating education in the United States. Past site visits include Harvard University, the CDA Council for Professional Recognition, and the Washington D.C. Office of the State Superintendent of Education.
Our study tours aim to demonstrate how inclusive education systems are formed, introduce successful credentialing systems being used in ECE, and provide an opportunity to learn from and network with the educational institutions they visit. Participants in our programs gain practical tools and knowledge to aid them in their work as early childhood educators and administrators.
A group of CDA principals completed the first ChildWise Study Tour in the United States. Over the course of their stay, they visited Harvard University where they met with and learned from Professor Junlei Li, senior lecturer in Early Education at the Harvard University School of Education. The group also visited kindergartens that have been recognized for their excellence in Boston and Washington D.C.
